The department provides comprehensive, evidence-based surgical care for conditions of the mouth, jaws, face and associated structures. With a focus on clinical excellence, patient safety and compassionate care, its surgeons work to restore function, appearance and quality of life for every patient. Alongside patient care, the department teaches BDS students, carries out clinical research and supports continuing professional development — nurturing skilled, ethical dentists who can deliver high-quality oral and maxillofacial surgical care.
