Five years, from anatomy to independent practice
- Year 1
Foundations of the human body
Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and dental anatomy and histology.
- Year 2
Disease, drugs and dental materials
Pathology, microbiology, pharmacology and dental materials, with pre-clinical work on dental simulators.
- Year 3
Medicine, surgery and early clinics
General medicine, general surgery and oral pathology, alongside clinical postings in the dental hospital.
- Year 4
Clinical dentistry
Clinical training across the dental specialities — from endodontics and prosthodontics to oral surgery and public health dentistry.
- Internship
A year treating patients
A one-year compulsory rotating internship across the departments of our dental hospital and community programmes.

A culture of enquiry
The college's peer-reviewed, biannual open-access journal since 2024, published by IP Innovative Publication and indexed in Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, J-Gate and Crossref — original research, clinical case studies, systematic reviews and short communications across dental and medical sciences.
