Eligibility - MDS

Only the following candidates will qualify for admission to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course at Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital:-

QUALIFICATION -

  • The candidate should have passed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and completed Internship from recognised Indian University.
  • The candidate should be registered with State Dental Council.
  • For Foreign Nationals / Non-Resident Indians (N.R.I.) / Persons of Indian Origin (P.I.O.) candidate should possess Dental qualification from international dental school or Indian school which is recognised by Dental Council of India. LOCATION - All candidates irrespective of their location are eligible. Students from all over India, foreign nationals, Non Resident Indians (N.R.I.), Persons of Indian Origin (P.I.O.) are eligible for admission.

 

Eligibility - BDS

Only the following candidates will qualify for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course at Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital:-

AGE - Only those candidates whose age is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

QUALIFICATION -

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 before 1st October of the year of admission.
  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English.
  • The candidate should have passed in all these subjects individually.
  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology. For S.T. / S.C. / O.B.C. category this limit is relaxed to 40%.
  • For Foreign Nationals / Non-Resident Indians (N.R.I.) / Persons of Indian Origin (P.I.O.) the study of Physics, Chemistry & Biology is essential in qualifying examination - CBSE, ISCE, HSC, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, High School or equivalent examinations. Those following the American High School system, applications will be considered if Physics, Chemistry and Biology have been taken as 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses or have one or two years of science in college. Minimum requirement is an average of 50% marks or 'C' grade in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and 50% or 'C' grade in English.

Fees Structure

Fees is as prescribed by U.P. Fee Committee.

MDS fees for academic session 2014-15 for Indian residents is Rs. 8.45 lacs per annum. (Fees subject to change without prior notice, this is only Tuition Fees, other charges apply)

BDS fees for academic session 2014-15 for Indian residents is Rs. 3.25 lacs per annum. (Fees subject to change without prior notice, this is only Tuition Fees, other charges apply)


100% Scholarships (No Fees) for Low Income Group students

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 before 1st October of the year of admission.
  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English.
  • Student should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Guardians of the students should be earning less than Rs. 1 lac per annum.

Scholarships for meritorius students residing in Jammu & Kashmir

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 before 1st October of the year of admission.
  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English.
